Welcome to our Team Portal

First of all I wish to thank all of you for participating in our brand new soccer team 402 better known as THE RANGERS. Go Rangers!!!!!!

To all kids for providing us parents with the happiness and satisfaction of seeing you demonstrate how soccer is meant to be played. And to the parents for driving the future champions to and from the practice field.

I invite you all to make an effort to get involved in the development of a team that will hopefully leave positive memories and helpful new skills and strengths. Please tune in for future updates!

Season starts on 09/06/2014

Please visit our Contribution and Expenses Chart for a look at the Team's finances.

The wish list:

In the same way as every player should have the same opportunities to play and develop, all parents should bear equal load as far as financial support.

I will try to find the best pizza party deal for the end of the season gathering, hope everyone is onboard for that occasion when we'll hand out the trophies.

Kids are known to like pizza and we'd like to provide them with happiness and a good time.

IMPORTANT UPDATE 08/12/2014!

Beginning August 11, 2014 I will start taking note of attendance, which is not obligatory at all, but since we may have one or two players over the permitted number in a game, attendance to practices will add points towards participation on each game. The League requires at least 50% of participation in games to every player, and I would really love to have everyone participate 100% of the time in scheduled games regardless of requirements, nonetheless only 11 players per team can play at any given time during a game, therefore attendance to practice will definitely influence how long a player will play in any given game.

As a side note, I would like to mention that having had a no so good experience in my previous team as a parent and my son as a player, I will positively attempt to keep track of each player's opportunity to play during the entire season, but in the spirit of being fair to everyone (mainly kids of course), ATTENDANCE will be a factor in determining who plays more minutes, other than that my intention is to have all kids happy, interested and involved.

Please let me know in a timely manner of any disagreement or concerns. I'm all ears and totally open to conversation. We all want our kids to succeed and to become the best, but kids develop at their own speeds and that is not something anyone can rev up.

I make as many mistakes as the next parent, but always try to put a solution.

Please keep in mind I'm a volunteer coach.
